Notre Dame Venture Capital made headlines with its latest investment into Fireside, a platform that combines the creator economy with live entertainment. Audiences can interact with their favorite creators in real-time making entertainment all the more engaging. High profile creators like Jay Leno and Michael Dell have already adopted Fireside, which is being called the first tactile entertainment platform with unlimited upside, according Mark Cuban - cofounder of Fireside. Cuban and Falon Fatemi, a serial entrepreneur herself, are on a mission to make the entertainment experience a two-way street.
Fireside is set to raise $25M at a $125M post money valuation. The NDVC team behind the deal was led by General Partners Alvin Alaphat and Sean Santos in partnership with Notre Dame alumnus Tim Connors of PivotNorth Capital. The associates involved with the deal were Elena Ma, Mark Metryoos, Danny Malloy, and Matthew Prame. Among NDVC's co-investors are The Chainsmokers, HBSE, Goodwater, Animal Capital and NFL stars Larry Fitzgerald and Kelvin Beachum and former NBA star Baron Davis.
NDVC will continue to monitor the progress of Fireside and provide support where necessary. Further information around our diligence process will be posted shortly.
