NDVC kicked off the year strong with an investment into Cloud Apartments, a software architect platform that aims to radically improve affordable housing through an innovative approach to reduce construction costs. General Partners Alvin Alaphat ('23) and Sean Santos ('23) led the team alongside alumni venture capitalist, Tim Connors.
Cloud Apartments' founder and CEO, Curtis Wong, came to talk to the group and answer questions from the associates who submitted due diligence and critiques in the weeks leading up to the call. The associates were hand-picked from a pool of summer applicants and were trained in diligence, thesis-building, and market analysis using Tim's winning metrics framework for analyzing startups.
After a successful session with the founder, the team agreed to invest into Cloud Apartment's raise. Welcome to the ND family, Curtis!
